North Korea's Kim Jong-II has been a very bad boy and this year Santa Claus will not be leaving Ipods, Cognac, Rolex watches, or other luxury items under the tree for the North Korean leader.
With the help of U.S. intelligence officials, the Bush administration has produced a list of luxury items that is prefered by Kim. The United States will stop exporting all items on the list to North Korea. Items include Mercedes, BMW and Cadillac cars; Japanese and Harley Davidson motorcycles; Hennessy XO cognac from France and Johnny Walker Scotch whisky; Sony cameras, Rolex watches, cigarettes, artwork, and even Jet Skis.
The new ban would also include music and sports equipment. So it looks like Kim will be getting a lump of coal in his stocking until he stops trying to produce a nuclear bomb.
My question is why were we sending them luxury items anyway? Aren't the people of North Korea poor? Anyway, I think we should learn a lesson from the Russians and send Kim some Hennessy XO cognac with a splash of radioactive polonium-210. That should take care of our problems with the leader.
