REMEMBERING PEARL HARBOR

With all the posting on the ISG and other political events, I just wanted to take time out and remember the attack on December 7, 1941 at Pearl Harbor. The Japanese conducted a brutal sneak attack against our forces stationed at Pearl Harbor. This attack brought America into World War II and with our allies we defeated the Japanese, Germans, and Italians. Let us not forget December 7!

I'M BLAMING OUR GENERALS!

The Iraq Study Group has issued their report and the press is on the offensive. Everyone is saying that President Bush's strategy is not working. It is true that we are not on our way to a victory in Iraq. But let's put partisan politics aside just for a moment and get to the root of the problem. The problem isn't strategy. Strategies can and should change as the war progresses. The real problem with the war in Iraq is leadership or lack of. And I'm not talking about the leadership of President Bush, I'm talking about the on the ground Commander of the Forces in Iraq. I'm talking about our officers in the military. Specifically, I'm talking about our General officers. The ones that are suppose to be leading our troops into battle. The ones that are suppose to inspire the troops, frighten the enemy, and secure a victory on the battlefield for America!

The majority of the General Officer Corp in our Armed Forces are nothing more than bureaucrats. During previous conflicts (WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam) Officers were expected to lead from the front. From the Second Lt. to the Commanding General, Officers lead the way into battle and we won wars.  However, today Officers are worried about being politically correct and when things go wrong. The officers blame the enlisted men.

We had great Generals that motivated not only our troops but they motivated the American public. We had General Patton who said great things like:

"May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't.”
“I am a soldier, I fight where I am told, and I win where I fight.”
“A good solution applied with vigor now is better than a perfect solution applied ten minutes later.”
“No good decision was ever made in a swivel chair.”

We had General Chesty Puller who lead his men in the battle. When an Army captain asked him for the direction of the line of retreat, Col Puller called his Tank Commander, gave them the Army position, and ordered: "If they start to pull back from that line, even one foot, I want you to open fire on them."
Turning to the captain, he replied "Does that answer your question?  We're here to fight."

Where are our great Generals today?

THEY CAN USE YOUR CELL PHONE

That's right. The FBI. They know when you are sleeping, they know when you're awake, they know when you've been bad or good.... And you ask how do they know?  One only has to look toward members of the Genovese Crime Family as a perfect example of how strong the FBI's surveillance capabilities. A recent court ruling in a case against the Genovese family revealedthat the FBI can:

1) Activate a cell phone from a remote location
2) Turn microphone on the cell phone into a listening device
3) Transmit everything to an FBI listening post.

The method is called
"roving bug" and the only way to defeat it is to remove the cell phone battery.  It seems that the FBI can access cell phones and modify them remotely without ever having to physically handle them. Any recently manufactured cell phone has a built-in tracking device, which can allow eavesdroppers to pinpoint someone's location to within just a few feet. Nextel and Samsung handsets and the Motorola Razr are especially vulnerable to software downloads that activate their microphones.

I have a Samsung handset. I wandering if they are listening. Lesson learned. Don't talk around cell phones.

CARTER BLASTED ON C-SPAN

Former President Jimmy Carter was blasted on C-Span by a Republican Caller. The caller didn't hold anything back.  She blasted him. Called him an Anti-Semite and a racist. Watch it here.

This has to be the funniest thing since a really really nervous Kayne West said George Bush doesn't care about Black people.

It's about time we had a Republican blast someone on TV.

IMAMS POLICE REPORT

FYI: Here is the link to the police report for the flying terrorist imams. I think they were testing airport security or trying to make passagers afraid of complaining about Muslims. But like I said we are at war with Muslim terrorists. So don't be afraid just complain.

MCDONALD'S STRIP SEARCH

An eighteen year old employee at a McDonald in Kentucky was called into the office by the manager. This was the beginning of a horrible ordeal for the young employee.  The manager was on the phone with someone claiming to be a police officer who had just accused the young employee of stealing a purse.

The manager was instructed by the voice on the phone to take the girl's cell phone, car keys, and clothes. And yes, the girl followed orders. For three hours she sit naked in the small office with only a dirty apron. She was humiliated, forced to strip, spanked, and then to perform a sexual act in the back office, during her work day. All because a voice on the phone claiming to be a police officer gave these bizarre instructions.

Sounds like a hoax. Yes, it is but it all happened and was captured on video tape. The young employee is suing McDonald's for $200 million dollars which they should at least pay her $100 million of it. But the man arrested for making the phone call was sit free.

surveillance video

It's a crazy story, but it leads me to a serious question. How safe are our teenagers in the workplace?  About 80 or more of these hoax calls has taken place and many of the calls has resulted in a strip search. One customer was actually asked to strip search an employee. Considering the fact that many teenagers work part-time jobs, what are employers doing to ensure the safety of their teenage employees? As silly as it sounds, I think that parents need to know educate their teenagers on their rights. Their right not to be strip searched and what to do if anyone asks them to take off their clothes. It's a crazy world but because of this story I'm just gonna say no to McDonalds. You ask why?
1) If there store managers are stupid enough to conduct a strip search and not hang up the phone and call police. Than they are not smart enough to cook my burgers.
2) The fact that McDonalds is on the defense and not wanting to pay this young girl who clearly did nothing wrong. That is a company that I don't want to support.

I guess my last question is where are all the tree hugging, peace loving bleeding heart liberals whom believe in a persons right not to be sexually assaulted? Where is Michael Moore? Where is her Senator? Where is Jeese Jackson and Al Sharpton? Where is the outrage at McDonalds from the public? Where are all the Christians who boycotted Target because of they wouldn't allow those annoying bell ringers last year? Where is the concern? Because if this isn't a civil liberties and civil rights case, I don't know what is?

I guess everyone is praying with the terrorist imams at the airport.

Feel free to contact McDonalds and let them know how you feel,
their number is 1-800-244-6227

PHONY MARINE BUSTED

Forty eight year old Michael Weilbacher was arrested by FBI agents while attending a local Marine Corps League meeting. Witnesses say he was wearing the Navy Cross, two Silver Stars, four Bronze Stars, and a partridge in a pear tree. Weilbacher claimed he won the Navy Cross while conducting secret missions in Colombia and he made the far claim that he just got out of the Marines. That made his story very hard to believe since he was about 400 pounds.

COMMANDER IN STUDY GROUP

Forget being Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States of America, its seems like now we have a Commander in Study Group for the Armed Forces. Don't get me wrong. I believe that the Commander in Chief should have all the information from all sources possible but at the end of the day President Bush is the Commander in Chief not the Iraq Study Group. It seems like since the Iraq Study Group made the news, everyone in America is waiting for their report.  We have a false sense of security that the Study Group will have all the answers on how to gracefully retreat in Iraq.

However, the truth of the matter is that the Iraq Study Group is not qualified to make such judgements or plan such strategies. Do you really thing that Sandra Day O'Connor can fix the war in Iraq? There is not one former General or Sgt. Major in the study group.  Everyone in the group is political. Yes, you do have William Perry a former Secretary of Defense. But come on. Can some old political hacks solve all our wartime problems?

Shouldn't we have more qualified study groups if we were going to go that route? I mean give me some guys from the USMC Wargaming Division, instructors from the US Army Command & Staff College, instructors from the USAF Command & Staff, instructors from the Naval War College, throw in a field agents from the CIA (no staffers actual case officers), mix in some instructors from DIA's Joint Military Intelligence College, and give me a half dozen guerilla warfare experts. I'll take Col. Oliver North, Colin Powell, and Stormin Norman. Now that's a study group.

But unfortunately that is not how the activities "inside the beltway" work. They just want people who are political with political backgrounds. People that on the surface seem to know what they're talking about but I'd bet that none of them has studied strategy and understand the theory of war and the art of war. I even bet that none of them has ever read Clausewitz's "On War"

The point is we need a Commander in Chief not a Study Group of so-called experts. The President has his own study group it's called the Pentagon and the whole entire Intelligence Community. So as the press starts to put their spin on the Iraq Study Group and the Democratic Congress says we should do everything they say. Keep in mind that these guys don't know jack about war. And their plans will likely result in the deaths of our soldiers, sailors, airman, and Marines.

MICHAEL MOORE: "WE'VE LOST. SOMETIMES YOU LOSE."

Filmmaker, outspoken war critic, and blundering idiot, Michael Moore has made his views on the troops and the Iraq war well known. In his latest letter, to the American people (which sounds more like the Iranian's president letter) Michael Moore has expressed several points of interest that I would like to address in my blog.

1) Michael writes: "We were able to defeat all of Nazi Germany, Mussolini, and the entire Japanese empire in LESS time than it's taken the world's only superpower to secure the road from the airport to downtown Baghdad."

*True, so to conserve time, I think that we should NUKE Iraq. Drop the atomic bombs just like we did to the Japanese empire. If we had not drop the bomb on Japan, the war could of lasted longer. So we should save time and money and nuke Iraq. That makes sense, because Michael is reporting that 61% of all Iraqis SUPPORT insurgent attacks on U.S. troops and 71% wants all Americans out of Iraq. So if we nuke Iraq there is only a 39% chance that we will kill Iraqis that don't support insurgent activities and we will end up killing 61% of our enemies. Let do it Michael!

2) Michael writes:  "It is a lost war, lost because it never had a right to be won, lost because it was started by men who have never been to war, men who hide behind others sent to fight and die."

*This passage is strange. Strange because Michael has never been to war. So how does he know so much about war and warfighting? How did he become such an expert about tactics, winability of a conflict, troop strength, deployments? In fact, I think that until Michael Moore serves a tour in the Marines or at least the Air National Guard, he should avoid trying to be an authority on military strategy.

3)Michael writes: "Bring the troops home now. Not six months from now. NOW. Quit looking for a way to win. We can't win. We've lost. Sometimes you lose. This is one of those times. Be brave and admit it."

*We can't win. That's the foundation of Michael Moore's Democratic Party. We can't win. Quit. Sometimes you lose. This is who has control over our Congress. This is who is fighting for control of the White House in 2008.  Quit. Sometimes you lose. Now you see why the terrorist are afraid of Bush but support the Democrats? Because when the going gets touch, Michael Moore and all his left wing followers will just quit. Surrender, the American flag, let's live under the occupation.

You may ask "Why even respond to Michael Moore?" It's simple. Republicans for too long have turned their back and not responded when attacked my liberal nonsense such as Michael. I'm not afraid of Michael. I'm smarter than he is. I'm a military veteran, I know more about war than he does. I'm a Republican and my party has better ideas than his. And guess what? Even though Michael Moore has a bigger soapbox, my opinion is just as important as his.

So lets respond to Michael Moore's losing attitude: send him an email today at:
mmflint@aol.com & mike@michaelmoore.com  Feel free to cc: me on the emails: I'll post some of them on the blog. joevoter@att.net

BUSH SAYS NO IPODS FOR N. KOREA

North Korea's Kim Jong-II has been a very bad boy and this year Santa Claus will not be leaving Ipods, Cognac, Rolex watches, or other luxury items under the tree for the North Korean leader.

With the help of U.S. intelligence officials, the Bush administration has produced a list of luxury items that is prefered by Kim.  The United States will stop exporting all items on the list to North Korea. Items include Mercedes, BMW and Cadillac cars; Japanese and Harley Davidson motorcycles; Hennessy XO cognac from France and Johnny Walker Scotch whisky; Sony cameras, Rolex watches, cigarettes, artwork, and even Jet Skis.
The new ban would also include music and sports equipment. So it looks like Kim will be getting a lump of coal in his stocking until he stops trying to produce a nuclear bomb.

My question is why were we sending them luxury items anyway? Aren't the people of North Korea poor? Anyway, I think we should learn a lesson from the Russians and send Kim some Hennessy XO cognac with a splash of radioactive polonium-210. That should take care of our problems with the leader.

Sorry, haters, God is not finished with me yet

Democratic Congressman Alcee Hastings is very bitter today after Nancy Pelosi passed on him for Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.  Hastings last words today during his statement was "Sorry, haters, God is not finished with me yet."

Representative Hastings is right. Hastings is a history maker. He is only the sixth judge in the history of the United States to be removed from his post by the Senate. But never fear, he has a plan. Hastings will play the race card, just like he did back in 1989 when he was impeached as a federal judge. However, what he will not be able to do is take more bribes and commit perjury as the Chairman of the Committee.

It will be interesting to see if the Congressional Black Caucus will go to war for Hastings.
