THEY DON'T WANT US TO LEAVE!

 Yes it's true, Iraqi terrorists fighting against the United States and our allies don't want us to leave. All they want to do is kill us. So if we stay in Iraq, the terrorist can just try to kill us there but if we leave they will have to travel the world to find and kill Americans.
This can easily be proven by looking at the latest breaking news.Four American Contractors Kidnapped in Iraq. Why would the terrorist kidnap and try to kill more Americans? Because that is their goal. Their goal is not to have a free Iraq, their goal is not to have peace in the Middle East, their goal is simple...they only want to kill Americans regardless of where we are or what we are doing.
If the terrorist in Iraq really wanted us to leave. They would stop the killing and the fighting for about four to six months. During that four to six months the Democrats in Congress would cut the funding to the war in Iraq, and bring all the troops home. So why did terrorist kidnap American Contractors in Iraq? The answer is simple they want us to stay so that they can kill more Americans.  What happens if we leave? They will find us and try to kill as many Americans as possible. The solution is simple, stay and Iraq and fight them. Hopefully, we will continue to take the fight to the terrorist instead of allowing them to take the fight to us at home.

Tommy Thompson for President?

Yes, it's true Former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson wants to run for President. Thompson intends to set up his exploratory committee after the first of the year. Thompson served as Health and Human Services Secretary during President Bush's first term. He is sure to win the hearts and minds of the voters in 2008. Yeah, right.

TRENT LOTT IS THE NEW MINORITY WHIP

 After being ousted as the Republican leadership about two years ago, Trent Lott has made his return. Today, Trent Lott was elected as the new Minority Whip of the Senate. It seems that the Republicans are forgiving him for those racial remarks that he made at a party for Senator Strom Thurmond. I think it is a bad choice.  It seems like our party has been making alot of bad choices lately. The first was passing on Michael Steele as the RNC Chairman, instead appointing a sitting Senator to the post. The second was Trent Lott. Maybe they gain back some of the common sense that they had before.

FLIGHT 77

I didn't know until today that the Pentagon had released two videos of Flight 77 crashing into the Pentagon. Some group called Judicial Watch had obtained them. I was just posting the link here in case anyone else was like me and didn't know that they had been released.  A lot of groups have tried to say that something else besides a plane hit the Pentagon which is a bunch crap. I was there at the Pentagon that day and know all too well that it was Flight 77 that hit the Pentagon. Let's always remember those that died on that day and play to kill those terrorist who target America.

LIBERAL'S PLEDGE TO CONSERVATIVES

 As a Republican I often frequent the websites of our Liberal enemies, just to try to gain insight into their plans for destroying America. I will continue to go on these recon missions because as Sun Tzu said "We must know our enemies as we know ourselves."
During my recon partrol I found a nice letter from Michael Moore to us, Conservatives and Republicans, here is some of it:

 "I know you are dismayed and disheartened at the results of last week's election. You're worried that the country is heading toward a very bad place you don't want it to go. Your 12-year Republican Revolution has ended with so much yet to do, so many promises left unfulfilled. You are in a funk, and I understand.

Well, cheer up, my friends! Do not despair. I have good news for you. I, and the millions of others who are now in charge with our Democratic Congress, have a pledge we would like to make to you, a list of promises that we offer you because we value you as our fellow Americans. You deserve to know what we plan to do with our newfound power -- and, to be specific, what we will do to you and for you.

Thus, here is our Liberal's Pledge to Disheartened Conservatives"

This is sickening Michael Moore is in charge and making pledges. What has the world come to? You may be asking yourself why I posted this? Simple, remember this everyday for two years. Print it out. Everytime somebody complains about the new laws that the Democrats will try to force on us, ask them one simple question.  Are you a Voter? If not register them. And remind them to vote in two years.

PLUTONIUM FOUND IN IRAN

 As the Democrats elect their Congressional leaders and they begin to plan the best way for the US to pull out of Iraq, the International Atomic Energy experts are busy finding unexplained plutonium and highly enriched uranium traces in Iran.  Iran is a significant problem not only to the United States but also to Israel.  Iran will export nuclear technology to our enemies and we can be sure that Iran will try to supply terrorist with materials and technology needed to build a "Dirty Bomb."
Just because the Democrats won the majority in Congress, doesn't mean the problems we have in the world will go away. A nuclear North Korea or Iran is bad for the world. But the key question is will the Democrats do anything?

GIULIANI'S BIG MISTAKE

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani took the first steps last Friday toward making a big mistake. That big mistake would be his run for the President in 2008. I understand that Giuliani was a good mayor and that he did a great job for New York during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 but that's about it.  Let's take a look back to 2000 when Giuliani was running against Clinton for the US Senate.  All of the scandal that Giuliani had during that race, leaving his wife, having an affair, the debate over who was going to get to stay in the Mayor's house. Not to forget that Giuliani lost Republicans alot of votes because of the controversy with Al Sharpton.
Don't get me wrong. I like Giuliani. He did do a good job as Mayor on September 11, 2001 but I don't think he would be a good candidate for President. What he should of done was knock Clinton out of the Senate seat in New York this past election? I mean think about it. If he wasn't able to beat Clinton in 2000, he was afraid to run against her in 2006, why does he think he could beat her in 2008? The moral of this story, just because you do good one day at work doesn't mean they should promote you to run the whole country.

CRAZY NEWS: DEMOCRATIC PARTY ENDORSED DEAD CANDIDATE

 Yes, it is true.  It doesn't matter if you right or wrong, young or old, black or white, alive or dead; the Democratic Party in Union County, North Carolina will endorse their candidates on the ballot.  During the election last Tuesday, a Democratic candidate for the Union County Soil and Water Conservation Board was endorsed by the Democratic Party during the week leading up to the election. Despite the fact that he had died about a month earlier.  Party officials claimed that they didn't know he was dead. The crazy thing about it is the fact that he won the election.
That's the CRAZY NEWS for today.

STEELE WANTS TO CHAIR RNC!

 Maryland Lt. Governor and 2006 Senate candidate Michael Steele spoke on C-SPAN'S"Washington Journal" show on Sunday. During that show, he indicated that he would accept the job of RNC Chairman if it was offered to him. 
I think that if the powers to be would appoint Michael Steele to chair the RNC, it would be great for the Republican party. Michael is smart and I think he would be able to attract new Republicans. Several days ago, I saw the first news article "floating" Michael Steele as the likely candidate for RNC Chair. I don't know who would be a better RNC Chair right now except for maybe George Allen but Allen messed up the VA election too bad to get anything except for the UN job.

DEMOCRATS: "LET'S RETREAT!"

 Senator Carl Levin, a Democrat from Michigan, and Senator Joseph Biden, a Democrat from Delaware, appeared on ABC'S "This Week" today.  Senator Levin is expected to be the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee in the new Congress. Senator Biden is expected to head the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Senator Levin was quoted as saying, "We need to begin a phased redeployment of forces from Iraq in four to six months." And Senator Biden stated that he would agree with a proposal like that.
But let's put Levin's quote in layman's terms "We need to begin to retreat as fast as we can without the voter's and the world thinking we are cowards so it may take four to six months to get out."
Everyone knows that "redeployment" means "retreat" and that the Democrats know very little about fighting wars. "Retreating" from the Iraq conflict would be very dangerous for many reasons. One it would show the people of Iraq that America won't stay the course, so they will never again trust us. Plus retreating is bad for the moral of the American people and the troops.
I know that many Americans believe that the election results where due to the war in Iraq. I agree but I believe it had more to do with how we are fighting the war. Now is not the time to debate whether or not we should be in Iraq. Now is the time to figure out what is our mission in Iraq and to defeat the enemy. I know many citizens hate the fact that our troops are in harms way. But that is what we pay our troops for, to fight wars, not to just sit around and go to college. Militaries are maintained so that we can have a force to fight. The Democrats need to realize that and let the military hunt down and kill all of our enemies in Iraq and be prepared to go to Korea or Iran next.

TERRORIST TO GET MORE RIGHTS

With the Democrats in control of both the Senate and the House, terrorists actively plotting against the United States government and our foreign interests will have to worry less about law enforcement and intelligence agencies. The Democrats have already signaled that they will put an end to the President's warrantless wiretaps. 

These warrantless wiretaps are important in the war on terrorism for two reasons. One they only involve calls made from the US into countries such as Iraq, Iran, Korea, and Afghanistan. The second is because it usually takes a day or two to get a warrant. Terrorist are buying prepaid cellphones and are using them for only one day. This tactic makes it nearly impossible for law enforcement and intelligence agencies to monitor these terrorist communications. We can also expect laws such as the Patriot Act to have the bite taken out of them.  This will indeed result in terrorist getting more rights and more opportunity to try and attack us.

There is no room for errors in the war on terrorism. The President and Congress needs to ensure that the safety of Americans is put above partisan politics, and that another September 11, 2001 doesn't happen again.

CRAZY NEWS: ANDY GRIFFITH SUES ANDY GRIFFITH

North Carolina's own Andy Griffith, the Star of the Andy Griffith show, is suing a Wisconsin man who unsuccessfully ran for the Grant County post after legally changing his name to Andrew Jackson Griffith. This day in age I think people will sue over anything and that's what makes this some crazy news. Andy Griffith, the actor, is a outspoken Democrat activist. Each year the actor does several commericals for Democratic candidates. I always thought the citizens of Mayberry would vote Republican.

Steele to replace Mehlman?

With all the Republicans that lost elections, the RNC is in no shortage of finding losing Republicans who need a job.  One of those floated in the times this morning was Michael Steele.  Michael Steele may actually be a good replace for Mehlman. Or maybe we should get George Allen?  I'd give the job to Karl Rove.

LET US NOT FORGET RUMSFELD'S RULES

When Donald Rumsfeld took over as the Secretary of Defense, many of us got a kick out of the famous Rumsfeld's Rules.  In honor of the outgoing Secretary of Defense I figured I would post his Rules for the Secretary of Defense.  Despite public opinion Donald Rumsfeld is going to go down in history as one of the Greatest Secretary of Defenses in American history.  I hope you drawn some wisdom from his Rules:

For the Secretary of Defense
  • The secretary of defense is not a super general or admiral. His task is to exercise civilian control over the department for the commander in chief and the country.
  • Reserve the right to get into anything, and exercise it. Make your deputies and staff realize that, although many responsibilities are delegated, no one should be surprised when the secretary engages an important issue.
  • Manage the interaction between the Pentagon and the White House. Unless you establish a narrow channel for the flow of information and "tasking" back and forth, the process can quickly become chaotic.
  • Normal management techniques may not work in the department. When pushing responsibility downward, be sure not to contribute to a weakening of the cohesion of the services; what cohesion exists has been painfully achieved over the decades.
  • When cutting staff at the Pentagon, don't eliminate the thin layer that assures civilian control.
  • Avoid public spats. When a department argues with other government agencies in the press, it reduces the president's options.
  • Establish good relations between the departments of Defense and State, the National Security Council, CIA and the Office of Management and Budget.
  • Be sure key U.S. ambassadors are informed on defense activities in their countries.
  • Develop a personal relationship with the chairman and each of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. They are almost always outstanding public servants. In time of crisis, those relationships can be vital.

GEORGE ALLEN FOR UN AMBASSADOR JOB

Today, Senator George Allen of Virginia conceded to once Republican, now Democrat Jim Webb. In January, Senator George Allen will be free to take the position of UN Ambassador.  President Bush's current selection for the position, John Bolton (no kin to famous singer Michael) will not likely get confirmed for the job in a Democratic dominated Congress. This leaves the position open for George Allen.  Another position that Bush may consider Allen for would Vice President.
