MICHAEL MOORE TO FACE UNEMPLOYMENT

Now that the elections are over and the FAR FAR LEFT has won, Filmmaker Michael Moore will soon face unemployment.  With the Democrats in power, Moore will not have anyone to blame except for the Democrats.  With President Bush's power limited by the newly elected Democratic Congress, Moore will have to find someone else to pick on or face unemployment.
However, conservative pundits such as Sean Hannity, Rush, Ann Coulter, and many others will have two fun filled years making fun of the Democrats as they run America into the ground. As for me, I'm just working and trying to pay the bills.

U.S. VOTE EMBARRASSES ALLIES!

On November 7, 2006 not only where we voting but the whole world was watching as the results came in.  Our Allies in the International Community are embarrassed by the results. The replacement of Donald Rumsfeld and President Bush's "let's play nice" campaign has left those who have supported our Global War on Terrorism and the War in Iraq wandering whether or not America is still a super power or do we just have a Lame Duck in office?
I believe that Republicans need to gear up and plan to fight the Democrats. And Voters need to understand that they were fooled. Just because the Democrats have control of Congress, doesn't mean that we are going to pull out of Iraq or that the war on terror is over.

"FORMER" KLANSMAN ELECTED TO SENATE

It's hard to believe that in the year 2006, a "former" Ku Klux Klan member would be elected to the Senate in the same election year of the Virginia "macaca" scandal.  But it's true, "former" Klan member Robert C. Byrd was elected to the Senate again. Byrd won the election for Senate in West Virginia.  Senator Byrd is currently the only member of the Senate to have been a Ku Klu Klan organizer and a seating Senator.  Byrd is a member of the Democratic Party.  Byrd was made famous again on Fox News in 2001 for using a very bad word.  I know that this isn't new news to alot of people but the fact is that it is true.

BREAKING NEWS: Donald Rumsfeld Resigning

BREAKING NEWS: Donald Rumsfeld is resigning as Defense Secretary and former CIA Director Robert Gates will be nominated to take his place. Here are some of the Stories:

Rumsfeld Resigning as Defense Secretary

GOP Says Rumsfeld Is Stepping Down

Democrats sweep elections, Rumsfeld quits

It doesn't make since to me, why quit, the election is over.  If Rumsfeld was gonna quit, than they should of let him quit like a week before the election. It's a shame.  This could of been done better. Rumsfeld wasn't perfect but he was good at his job. Score another victory for the Democrats, before long we will be surrendering to the enemy.

PELOSI NO SHOO-IN FOR JOB AS SPEAKER

Today is interesting. Democrats are jumping up and down in victory for taking over the House. And Republicans are wandering, "Where did we go wrong?" Political pundits, new organizations, and Beltway insiders are already calling Nancy Pelosi "the next Speaker of the House." But maybe we should all stop for a minute, stop wandering why we lost and they won, stop all the should of been, could of been type of thinking and go on the offensive. Did you ever stop to think that maybe Nancy Pelosi is no shoo-in for job as speaker?
Yes, it is true that the Democrats won the House. But most of the Democrats in the House don't share the same extreme values of Nancy Pelosi.  Many of the Democrats in the House especially those from Southern States are somewhat conservative. So what do we do?
1) Write a letter (Don't email) Write a real letter to your Democratic Congressman. (I'll post a sample one later.)
2) Write letters to the editors of your local newspaper about your local Congressman. "Will Congressman John Doe support Nancy Pelosi for Speaker?"

If your Congressman is a centrist, than they are going to look for a reason to not support Nancy, what better reason not to support her is if they are getting pressure on the homefront.  It is possible that a vote for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House could cause Democratic Congressmen in conservative leaning districts to loss their seats the next go round. But the only way that will happen is if their actions are portrayed in the spotlight of the local press. Just remember they have to vote for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker and she ain't Speaker until they vote.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU

The elections are over and all the votes are being counted. Political Pundits are preparing their comments as I currently type this blog. But going to the polls to vote today made me thank of all the troops that currently serve our nation.  As you all know many of our troops are in harms way in Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Marines stand guard at every American Embassy.  I just wanted to say thank you to all the troops, because if it wasn't for the fighting men and women in uniform we wouldn't be able to vote.  As we begin to plan our future with the newly elected men and women in office, let us think about that soldier, sailor, airman, and Marine who patrolled the streets of Iraq wondering if they were gonna make it home.  They fight not just because it is their current mission, they fight so that we can sit here at home and enjoy freedom.  All politics aside, I would like to extend a SPECIAL THANK YOU to all those who have served and are currently serving from the barstool at Tun Tavern to the streets of Iraq...Thank you. Thank you for my freedom.

BREAKING NEWS: Britney Spears Files for Divorce

BREAKING NEWS: Britney Spears Files for Divorce from Kevin what's his name.  Maybe everything should stop? How will the world react? How will their divorce influence the outcome of the election and voter turnout? Who gets the kids? Who really cares? I can't believe headlines like that make breaking news. What about the other news of the day? Isn't there something else more important than Britney Spears?
How about:

Panama Wins U.N. Security Council Seat

57 Officers in Iraq Charged With Torture

Israeli Forces End Gaza Strip Offensive

Or maybe even the election results tonight?  With the election, the war in Iraq, and the Global War on Terrorism, something more has to be going on than Britney.  Maybe the news should read Joe Voter works another day on the job, will be able to pay bills.

DON'T READ THIS!

It is currently late in the voting day, and I know that many of you haven't voted yet.  My advice don't read this GO VOTE! People living in states live Virginia and Maryland really really need to get out to vote.  Who would have ever guessed that George Allen would be in a tight race with Webb?  So you should not only go and vote, you should call a conservative friend and take them to vote with you.  The Democrats are pushing this bring 5 to the poles with you in my local area. So that means Republicans need to bring 11 to the poles with them because we all know that the 5 Dems just may vote twice? But that's another blog and another day. So for now, don't read this go VOTE.
Thanks,
I'm Joe Voter.

THEY CAN'T RUN ANYTHING RIGHT!

President Bush and former (thank god!) President Clinton are out on the campaign trail as the Battle for the Votes goes into it's final hours.  In an AP report, Bush Campaigns, Dems Assail Status Quo the following was said about FORMER President Clinton's campaign speech:

"They can't run anything right," countered former President Clinton, taunting Republicans about the war in Iraq, the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and even the scandal involving the House page program that complicated GOP efforts to win two more years in power.

I would really like to see what Clinton means by running something right.  Let's look at some of the comparables to the Democrats and Clinton.
1) Clinton should never say anything about the page scandal. Anybody remember, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman." Enough said.
2) Let us not forget Rwanda. Clinton sat on his hands while hundreds of thousands were murdered and over 2,000 Marines could of been deployed within six hours of the initial attacks. (I know I was one of the 2,000)
3) The war in the Balkans. We still have troops over there. How come nobody talks about bringing them home?
4) High taxes. I know many of you will say that the Democrats will only raise the taxes on the rich. And of course, I'm not rich. But anytime you raise taxes that high it has a negative effect on everybody.
5)Failure to stop terrorist. Clinton never responded to the bombing of the USS Cole, this made the terrorist think that the US would not do nothing if they attacked. Plus, he never ever wanted to get Bin Laden, he was too busy trying to get Monica.
6) Failure to properly manage the NO-FLY Zones and Oil for Food programs in Iraq. If we would have stayed on the UN's back Saddam would not have gotten the lee way to do what he wanted.

I think that is enough said.  It has taken the Republicans a long time to deal with the problems that Clinton made. So my message to Clinton is to think before he speaks. And yes, we make our mistakes too, but Republicans do a good job running things. And that's why I'm going out to vote tomorrow is to try and keep'em running things.

"Dem's Plan" for Iraq? Anyone?

In the world of online, television, and print news, it's funny how only one or maybe two stories are the headlines for any one given day. Yet I came across an interesting Reuters Story entitled Bush challenges Democrats to offer plan for Iraq.  I believe this story would of made a great headline in the liberal media. On the surface, it seems to be a story about Bush trying to rally up voters to go to the polls and vote Republican. But it's really true.  The Democrats' plan for Iraq, leading up to the midterm elections, is to do only one thing: "Blame it on Bush!" So any logical person could conclude that is their plan before the election is to "Blame it on Bush!", what will be their plan after the election?
I believe that even if the Democrats gained control of both houses (God help us all), than all the Democrats would still do is stay the course and "Blame it on Bush!" The truth is America could have a Congress controlled by a party who would have no plan, NO PLAN AT ALL, regarding the situtation in Iraq.  The bigger truth is that the Democrats have no plans at all on nearly any issue except for allowing stem cell research, legalizing partial birth abortion, allowing gay marriage, and the most important thing raising taxes.
So what is the solution? Well, I could blog them an Iraq plan but I don't think they will listen. But Democrats feel free to email me with requests and I will put together a plan for you, because all the good plans that Democrats have ever had where stolen from Republicans during election years.
The other solution is simple.  Go out and meet some of my family. My name is Joe Voter and I know that you proably know at least one or two of the Voter family. Go out and remind them to get out to the polls this Tuesday.  Because there is one thing about the Voter Family, we are nice people but we tend to forget about elections alot.

Joe Voter: Why Blog?

The question is a simple one.  Why blog?  I have never written a blog before so why start now?  I could comfortably sit by on the sidelines and watch as others voice their opinions about government policies, elections, foreign affairs, or whatever the hot topic of the day is.  But what makes my opinion matter?  After all there are many experienced writers out their many of whom have their own television and radio shows.  Then it dawned on me, I might not be a famous personality, but I am the person that all politicians are trying to attract.  They spend millions upon millions of dollars each election cycle to try to persuade my beliefs and get me to the polls.  So shouldn't my opinions matter? Shouldn't each and every voter's opinions matter?  Isn't that the job of our elected officials? Shouldn't they be listening to us? Not just the vocal liberal minority? But to the voter's that live in their districts and states? I think they should. So that is why I am going to blog. I will blog to entertain, inform, and simply to share my opinions with all of you all there on the information superhighway known as the World Wide Web.  According to my calculations, my opinion matters just as much as everyone else. And guess what?  My vote matters too. After all I am Joe Voter.  Are you a Voter too?
